The chief guest for the 20th Convocation Day was none other than the President of India Mr. Giani Zail Singh (second from right). The Union Minister for Education and Culture Mrs. Sheila Kaul (third from right) was also present. Also seen in the photograph is Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT Madras Mr. A. Sivasailam (extreme left). It appears that the President has just come out of his car before heading to the venue.
